Horse Punch

When on the internet sometimes things border on the ridiculous. It is almost like Blazing Saddles.

Problem with that is if you need refreshing on one particular thing from a movie it might be better to be certain the targeted search you do is thoroughly targeted to LOCATE what you WERE hunting for.

You can be happy when you hit the jackpot. It is more likely that it will happen if you remember enough about what you want to know. You must put sufficient things in quotes in the search box to avoid unsolicited results. If you fail to ‘get lucky’ on the first stab you might make the mistake of going to Urban Dictionary thinking it might be what you were looking for. FAIL.

The other consequence of a search that does not hit the intended target is the massive amounts of time wasted looking at what you weren’t trying to find. This can be complicated and compounded if many of the things you were not looking for but found are genuinely funny.

Of course this is possible when you are searching for something like a cowboy punching a horse. But, it can also happen when people are searching for more mundane and benign things. I can assure you it is usually better for all concerned not to follow the related video results.

Random searching has become a new form of entertainment for the young and those permanently damaged AADD individuals. The journey less taken can take someone directly into the mainstream of the internet or into a viral vortex of the funny or ridiculous. People get locked up in Memes for eternity.

Some things I am thankful to have stumbled into. Other things that I did not need to know, want to know or ever want to be exposed to have entered the world of my consciousness this way.

“Walk this way.” As an example: About 1,260,000 results (0.61 seconds)

“Walk this way.” "Young Frankenstien" - Did you mean: "Walk this way." "Young Frankenstein": About 58,700 results (0.31 seconds)

No, that is not what I meant. “Walk this way.” "Young Frankenstein": Since I know there was deliberate misspelling in the movie that would narrow things down. I really did mean “Walk this way.” "Young Frankenstien": About 668 results (0.34 seconds)

“Walk this way.” "Young Frankenstien" Igor: 56 results (0.16 seconds)

So, I was searching for a horse punch and not a donkey punch. DOH.

“Hey you can’t park that animal over there.”
