When there is such a fine line between success and failure what is it that makes the difference? Wondering doesn’t seem to matter as some times nothing does.
Calvin might have gotten it right. Some things are just predestined. His zealous vigor seems to preclude application to the entire known world. Maybe it is those little things we do that we do not realize that make things seem predetermined when actually they are not.
Certain things will happen in the future that we are certain to take place, just as other things are not going to happen no matter what. Nothing short of rearranging the universe can change this. If a solar eclipse is scheduled; we can put on the welder’s glasses and pretty much expect that it will happen. Is there a certainty or a component we may not be aware of that relates to other things?
One would have to be foolish to deny that events and circumstances beyond our control or knowledge rule our world and other worlds we only suspect and can not confirm.Theoretical Physicists endeavor to define and explain our world for and to us. Based on past performance their efforts are nothing more than their best guess. When they are lucky, they get enough right to explain part of what it is that guides us. It is not so much that they are wrong. It is that they don’t seem to have it all right no matter how much they rely on the past or try to define the present. Some even attempt to outline the future. In this they are always certain to fail.
Unfortunately, more to come on this.
